No trip to the south would be complete without visiting a plantation. We chose the Boone Hall Plantation. It has won numerous accolades and endorsements, even the Today Show and Ryan Seachrist have broadcast there. It has been called one of the most photographed plantations and one of the oldest working plantations, having grown crops there for the past 320 years. There are several others in the area and I would love to visit another just to have something to compare to. We were surprised as we just happen to have been on the weekend for the annual Scottish Festival.  Read more
