Depending on how much you have traveled and where you have traveled your list could vary wildly from mine. I think it's helpful to make a list and try and cross off one destination each year. Read more

Top 10 Places My Eleven Year Old Grandson Wants to Visit
In the last of the grandson's top 10 lists, Wyatt lists the top 10 places he wants to visit. Many of you may have grandkids who want to visit these same destinations or perhaps you could share your list with us. Read more
Top 10 Places I Have Been
The final installment of the theme "The Top 10 Places I Have Been" is my list. Some are very specific and others are general, hopefully you will find a place or two you might enjoy from the list. I would give a nod to Switzerland as an honorable mention, but I've really only been to one city there so felt it wasn't really an accurate depiction. Read more
Top 10 Places I Have Been from a 10-year old's Perspective
To continue our "Top 10 places that I Have Been" theme, this article is from my 10-year old grandsons, Wyatt's, perspective. Although he has been most of the places his brother has gone, he had a few different top locations. It appears he is a Colorado boy through and through. We are curious to hear your top 10 places too. Top 10 Places I Have Been from a 12 Year-Old
Top ten lists gained their fame on David Letterman's show, but have you ever thought about your top 10 list of where you have traveled? This column was inspired and partially written by my grandsons. In the process, we determined we needed two lists. One where we want to go and the other where we have been. Clearly this will be different based on our ages, but nonetheless informative. Read more
Glenwood Springs
On a recent short weekend excursion we chose to explore our state a little more. Our destination was Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Of course you can get there many ways but we went by train (for more information on this, see the blog post here). Glenwood Springs was named the Most Fun Town in Rand McNally's Best of the Road Series. It's no wonder with all the diversity of activities and I didn't even focus on any winter activities. Read more
Train Travel
I recently took a train trip from Denver to Glenwood Springs, Colorado on the California Zephyr, an Amtrak train. My husband loves train travel. This is not my first trip, having taken this one in the past, I decided to approach this one from the perspective of considering this as a means of travel. Read more
Garden of the Gods–A trip which merged technology and rejuvenation
Usually when we think of travel, we are thinking about a couple of weeks, a week or a weekend at the very least, however I would really encourage you to consider the overnight trip for a quick rejuvenation. I also gave my technology a test drive to see just how it could enhance the trip. Read more
