A Break in the Chaos

The difference was a pedestrian area, conveniently located close to my hotel which allowed for some relaxation and exploration. After departing from the hotel, I took a short stroll though a market area, and after about a two blocks, I arrived at a large car-free area where tourists and locals alike could walk around and mingle as they pleased. It was a prime location for souvenir shopping. Visitors could buy fresh flowers, handmade soap, postcards and t-shirts, at prices that would not empty your wallet. There are many, many different factors that can make vacations one of the greatest experiences in our lives. However, there are also things which can make traveling a nightmare. A situation which can fall into the latter category can be when a traveler goes overseas, and suddenly realizes they have been separated from their passport.
