A Break in the Chaos

The difference was a pedestrian area, conveniently located close to my hotel which allowed for some relaxation and exploration. After departing from the hotel, I took a short stroll though a market area, and after about a two blocks, I arrived at a large car-free area where tourists and locals alike could walk around and mingle as they pleased. It was a prime location for souvenir shopping. Visitors could buy fresh flowers, handmade soap, postcards and t-shirts, at prices that would not empty your wallet.
