Top 10 Places I Have Been

Lisa Niday - Wednesday, May 29, 2013

The final installment of the theme "The Top 10 Places I Have Been" is my list. Some are very specific and others are general, hopefully you will find a place or two you might enjoy from the list. I would give a nod to Switzerland as an honorable mention, but I've really only been to one city there so felt it wasn't really an accurate depiction. Read more

Kauai-An Old Friend with New Treasures

Lisa Niday - Friday, November 09, 2012

When you travel sometimes you really want to explore new things and other times you want to "put on the comfortable slippers and stay at home". I have seen a monk seal on Oahu but not Kauai. The volunteer also let us know, the sea turtles live to 80 years old and this one was probably 60 years old. The Hawaiian green sea turtles are also endangered. Read more

Lisa Niday - Saturday, November 21, 2009

We've gone from the glitz and glam our of Las Vegas to the Garden Isle of Kauai, Hawaii, where relaxation is king. I have been to Kauai four times over the past 6 years. It has been 3 years since I have been on the island and I must say the changes have been pretty vast.
