Nashville-the 3rd Time

Lisa Niday - Sunday, September 04, 2011

If you follow the blog much, the title will make sense, however if you aren't a regular reader I will give you an explanation. This is the 3rd time I have been to Nashville and I have managed to see new things on each trip and on this trip I did what I would consider some of the popular tourists destinations. If you are wanting more information on Opryland (check out this blog post) or other entertainment options on Broadway click on the links listed. Read more

Now I was there this past weekend, Monday, November 15th was the "soft opening" of Opryland. It is amazing to see what the people have done in just 6 months. Once again a tribute to the American "can do" spirit. They didn't wait around for the government to show up and fix things. Neighbors helped neighbors. Over 3000 volunteers helped rebuild the Lighthouse Christian School as was shown on Extreme Makeover Home Edition on November 14th. For more detail on the flooded area and some of the options also available that I didn't cover here, see the previous blog post hereRead more

Nashville-At a Glance

Lisa Niday - Sunday, May 16, 2010

I haven't had the chance to write in awhile, have been busy with the day job. I just hate it when that happens. The day job has taken me to lots of destinations recently so I'm just going to write a little about each and nothing extensive.
